A survey settles anything a page cannot — clearance, power, and what it will actually cost on your site.
Mainly three things: the size and weight of the leaf or boom, the duty cycle it has to withstand (how many times a day it opens and closes), and the control and safety technology specified. A remote control and a photocell is a simpler build than RFID, loop detection and a GSM dialer together. OSIL prices each site individually rather than by a flat rate.
